Now, as per the latest updates, the actress is going to get honored with Sridevi award at Zee Apsara Awards. She is receiving this award for her major contribution to the film industry and also for being a deserving woman achiever.
Tamannaah played the role of a female lead in the sequel of Sridevi's superhit film Himmatwala and the new version released in 2013. At present, she is busy with a handful of projects like “Kanne Kalai Maane”, “Naa Nuvve”, “Khamoshi” and “Queen Once Again”. In a recent interview, the actress even revealed that she is quite happy to receive this prestigious award after the late lady superstar Sridevi.
