Actually, Kajal has been on a dream run with blockbusters like ‘Khadi No 150’ and ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ until the not-so-impressive ‘MLA’ scuttled her winning streak.
Apart from the hefty remuneration, the actress is happy to team up with seasoned star Ravi Teja. This will be the third time that she will be working with ‘Kick’ star after having previously worked in ‘Saarocharu’ and ‘Veera’ and the hotshot team will be hoping to break the jinx with this cop story.
The Telugu remake of `Theri’ is yet to be titled and the makers are considering multiple options. “Kajal retained her stardom and charisma even after a decade in the industry with her immense talent, good looks and professionalism all rolled-into-one. Has good two or three years more in T-town,” the source concludes.
