B-town actor Ravi Kishan, who made his T-town debut with ‘Race Gurram’, is now reportedly playing a dark role opposite megastar Chiranjeevi in the much-hyped ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and it is a key role in this period saga.

“Ravi Kishan plays an important role of a village head, who opposes to join hands with freedom fighter Chiranjeevi against British administration. Some key scenes revolving around them and a host of villagers were wrapped up recently,” says a source, close to the unit. Even though Ravi essayed all kinds of roles in Hindi movies, he mostly showcased his dark side only in Telugu movies. “Ravi Kishan is a natural actor and gets into the skin of the role with consummate ease,” adds the source.

Ravi Kishan showcased his evil side in films like ‘Kick 2’, ‘Sketch’ and ‘MLA’ and again playing a menacing role in the upcoming action film ‘Saakshyam’. Probably, he is being typecast by Telugu filmmakers, despite being a versatile and talented actor. Nevertheless, Ravi has got the opportunity to share screen space with biggies like Allu Arjun, Ravi Teja and Kalyan Ram and now biggest of them all, Chiranjeevi.
