Srabha: A socio-fantasy

‘Sharabha’ with Aakash Kumar and Misli Chakravarti in the lead, produced by Aswhin Kumar Sahdev under the banner of AKS Entertainment, is slated to hit the screens worldwide on June 1.

Senior actress Jayprada will also be seen in a key role in this flick being directed by N Narasimha Rao. Speaking to the media on the occasion, producer Sahdev said that the film’s trailer, which was recently released by noted producer Dil Raju evoked a tremendous response. He said that he was immensely pleased that a senior actress like Jayaprada agreed to act in their film, which was a socio-fantasy.

Music composer Koti, heaping praises on the producer said that this was the best offer that he got after the Anushka starrer ‘Arundhati’, nine years ago. He expressed the hope that it would be a huge hit.

Actress Jayaprada said that she was happy to be part of a Telugu film after a long hiatus. She said that after listening to the story narrated to her by director Narasimha Rao, she agreed to act in it immediately and feels that it would be turning point in her career. She claimed to be doing a ‘challening role’.

Hero Aakash Kumar said that it was a dream come true for him for sharing screen space with a senior actress like Jayaprada.
