Rana, Yeleti film on the cards?

It seems that hotshot Rana is willing to work with seasoned directors and right now, holding discussions with Chandrasekhar Yeleti for a big ticket film. “It is true that they are planning to come up with a gripping entertainer and the actor-director had a couple of meetings, but nothing is fixed yet,” says a source, close to the star.

However, Rana seems to be interested to work with directors who explore different genres. “That’s right. Rana is keen to work with different kind of directors who think out-of-box rather than dish out clichéd stuff,” the source adds. It seems right, because Yeleti has carved out a niche for himself with path-breaking films like ‘Aithe’ and ‘Anukokunda Oka Roju’ and brought pride to Telugu cinema.

Even flops haven’t deterred Yeleti because he believes in realistic cinema and prefers to traverse his own path. Coming back to Rana, he is giving more preference to 50-plus directors like Teja and Gunasekhar and trusts their instincts and body of work. “Rana thinks and decides faster and works with directors who match his wavelength, irrespective of their age,” the source concludes.
