Nagarjuna's Officer Movie preview!

‘Officer’ has been in the news for quite a long time thanks to the controversial nature of its director Ram Gopal Varma. The film marks the return of Nagarjuna and RGV combination who gave a game changer like ‘Shiva’ 28 years back. Naturally, there are a lot of expectations over this film and finally ‘Officer’ is hitting the screens this Friday.

Produced by Varma himself, ‘Officer’ is a story of a tough cop who arrives to Mumbai with his daughter and starts to curb the criminals one after the other. The way he completes the mission despite all the hurdles forms the crux of the story.

Earlier, there were rumours that the plot is inspired from Hollywood flick ‘Taken’ which was denied by the makers. Few days back, a young writer P. Jaya Kumar who earlier locked horns during the release time of ‘GST’, accused Varma of stealing his idea and making ‘Officer’. But, RGV slammed it and said that the film is loosely based on the real-life police KM Prasanna who worked for SIT (Special Investigation Team) in Mumbai.

After a gap of over one year, Nag will be seen in a full-length role in ‘Officer’ and Varma seems to have played it safe by choosing his favourite underworld crime story. The teaser and trailers promise an intense RGV mark film with loads of violence and tons of action. Hope, vintage Varma comes back and deliver a hit this time.
