The actor was confident about the success of the movie from the beginning and hence he held a special premiere show of the movie in Cinemax a day before the film's release.
The movie opened to positive reviews everywhere and the trade experts revealed that good numbers are generated on the first day of the release. Vishal has a decent market in Telugu film industry and with Abhimanyudu, he just improved.
Samantha played the heroine in the movie while Action King Arjun entertained as the lead antagonist. A newcomer Mithran made his directional debut with Abhimanyudu and Vishal produced the movie under Vishal film factory banner.
