Harris Shankar praises Shakalaka Shankar
Popular director Harris Shankar known for big ticket films like ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘DJ’ claimed that he knew comedian-turned-hero Shakalaka Shankar for more than a decade. “I saw him rise from an office boy to this stage. He even drew sketches for ‘Gabbar Singh’ and he is quite talented.
Popular director Harris Shankar known for big ticket films like ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘DJ’ claimed that he knew comedian-turned-hero Shakalaka Shankar for more than a decade. “I saw him rise from an office boy to this stage. He even drew sketches for ‘Gabbar Singh’ and he is quite talented.
I am awaiting the release of his film ‘Shambho Shankar,” said the director after releasing the teaser. The comic-caper is being directed by N Sridhar, while Karunya plays the female lead in this film being produced by Ramana Reddy and Suresh Kodeti. Later, talking about the film, director Sridhar said “I penned a tailor-made script for Shakalaka Shankar,”.
While comedian-turned-hero Shankar said, “I slimmed down not due to gymming and workouts, but due to lack of work and food for the last two years,” he added. Will he become a popular comedian-turned-hero like Sunil and Allari Naresh? That remains to be seen.
