Aditi Rao arrives with a bang

With her maiden Telugu film ‘Sammohanam’ drawing critical acclaim as well as box office collections, B-town diva Aditi Rao Hydari has arrived with a bang. Her good looks and performance as a ‘star’ on screen received accolades and her talent was noticed.

“Aditi Rao was the surprise package of the film and her onscreen chemistry with Sudheer Babu paid off well,” says distributor Ramakrishna, who claims that the actress will be flooded with offers in T-town. “Big stars could be working with her since she is a good mix of gorgeous looks and talent and also carries a brand of B-town on her sleeves,” he adds. Although the film began at the ticket windows on a low-key fare, yet it gradually picked up and now is expected to make more than Rs 8 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States, the distributor adds.

Surely, Aditi arrived in T-town at the right time, since top actresses like Kajal Agarwal, Tamannaah and Samantha have gravitated towards women-centric movies. We have to see whether gen-next stars like Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu will share screen space with the ‘Cheliya’ actress, or she has to work with middle-aged heroes, only time will tell.
