Jamba Lakidi Pamba has hit the theaters on Friday. The makers are very much happy with the way the film is getting a positive buzz and the theatrical trailer of the movie already impressed everyone. The film is the new-age version of EVV Satyanarayana's super hit movie Jamba Lakidi Pamba. There are a lot of comedy elements in the movie that are going to be received in a big way. The film's story is based on a couple's disputes and how it is solved was presented in a comedy manner. J B Murali Krishna is the director. Gopi Sundar is the music director. Srinivas Reddy, Ravi, and Jojo Jose are producers of the movie. Check out the review of the film.

Story:

Varun (Srinivas Reddy) is a software engineer who is married to a fashion designer Pallavi (Siddhi Idnani). The couple starts arguing over things which results in a point where they decide to take divorce.

Accidentally their lawyer Posani dies and turns into a soul. He interchanges the genders of Varun and Pallavi. What happens next is going to be interesting as a fun ride which is to be seen in the theatres.

Performances:

Srinivas Reddy and Siddhi Idnani made a good pair of the screen. Looks wise, Siddhi is not an impressive girl but she has got the skill to perform. She is impressive in all the major sequences. Srinivas Reddy who is undoubtedly a great performer has brought his best to the character he played in this movie. He has portrayed his part pretty well and generated good comedy on the screen.

The lead actors have got decent support from all the character artists and comedy actors. Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Raghu Babu, Satyam Rajesh and others impressed big way and generated fun in the movie. There are many wonderful artists who made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:

The cinematography by Satish Mutyala is interesting. His camera work is a major plus point for the movie. The editing by Thammi Raju is okay. The production values by Jojo Jose, Srinivas Reddy and Ravi are grand. The music by Gopi Sundar failed to impress but his background has elevated the film in the required proportions. Technically the film is too good.

Verdict:

The film promises a fun ride as well as family drama with some quirky characters. The lead actors have confidently portrayed the qualities of the opposite gender and generated good fun. Till interval, the film runs on a slow pace but keeps on entertaining the audiences. After the bodies interchange sequence, the film picks the pace and the sequences that are shown in the second half are good but a little overboard.

The film touches the family drama element only in the last 15 minutes. The film which is said to be a comedy entertainer disappoints big time because of a failure in designing a good screenplay. With no proper positive elements, the film completely disappoints in many aspects.

Srinivas Reddy who acted in a reasonable full-length role has done his best but a poorly written and directed film has done the damage. On the whole, the film fails to impress.
