Kalyan Ram doing action for ‘Naa Nuvve’?

You may believe it or not, but Nandamuri actor Kalyan Ram participated in two action sequences for his film “Naa Nuvve’ recently, although, the film is out of theatres right now. Actually, the love story revolving around destiny failed to impress the audience in the two Telugu states a few weeks ago, but the producers have urged Kalyan Ram to do a couple of action sequences for the Hindi dubbing version.

“These two action episodes will be included in the Hindi dubbed version and Kalyan Ram took part in it along with others,” says an industry source. The reason behind shooting for the film, even after its release, is that the Hindi distributor has paid Rs 4 crore for the Hindi dubbing rights. “The Hindi small screen viewers love to watch action-centric Telugu films. Hence, the producer, who sold the film for a fancy price, requested Kalyan Ram to do some action sequences, to include it for the Hindi version.

“Usually, films of the Nandamuri stars are loaded with dare-devil action scenes. But this film was a kind of an exception of sorts. With Kalyan Ram in a new lover boy avatar wooing Tamannaah wouldn’t have grabbed more eyeballs pan-India. However, with these action sequences, the film is bound to have a better connect with the Hindi audience,” the source adds. No doubt, Hindi distributors have become ‘directors’ of Telugu films, albeit, through backdoor entry.
