Story:
Ram (Kalyan Dev) is a happy-go-lucky guy who fails in executing his business of surprising people with unique ideas. He falls for Jaithra (Malavika Nair) and tries to impress her. As days are passing, he comes to know that his father's (Murli Sharma) health is not so well. That particular incident changes his life completely. What did Ram do then? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances:
Kalyan Dev is impressive in the film as the cinematography by Senthil Kumar has impressively shown him. The actor has got the required skill in presenting himself correctly but he needs to improve more on his body language and performance. On the whole, Kalyan Dev makes a decent debut with the film Vijetha.
Malavika Nair played the heroine in the movie, and she is perfect in her role. She has performed her part well and impressed everyone big time. The chemistry between on-screen characters is excellent and exciting. Murali Sharma played a crucial role in the film as Kalyan Dev's father.
The scenes between Murali Sharma and Kalyan have come out well, and Murali Sharma portrayed a beautiful performance in the movie. Tanikella Bharani is impressive in his role, and he did his best for the film.
Technical Aspects:
KK Senthil Kumar's cinematography is top notch in the movie. He showed everyone beautifully on the screen and managed everything very well. The writing by Rakesh Sashi is decent.
Harsha Vardhan Rameshwar's music is pleasant, and the background score is also okay. The editing is neat and proper. The production values maintained by the producers is grand.
Verdict:
The film Vijetha is emotional and relatable. The film tells a beautiful tale of the relationship between father and son. More or less, Vijetha is the story of an ordinary middle-class father Srinivasa Rao played by Murali Sharma.
The first half of the film introduces the characters and their lifestyle. The humor and entertainment quotient in the movie is decent. The second half of the movie takes a serious yet emotional path which is impressive to watch.
The less runtime of the movie is an added advantage for the film. With decent performances from the lead pair, the film is good. Murli Sharma's performance is a major highlight. On the whole, there are some enjoyable moments in the film and is watchable despite few hiccups in the middle.
