Vijay Devarakonda turns a singer

Vijay Deverakonda has turned a singer in his upcoming film ‘Geeta Govindam’ and his number will be released shortly. Meanwhile, the recently released first single from his latest flick was a chartbuster. The melodious tune “Inkem Inkem Kaavali” composed by Gopi Sunder has already got 19 million views and counting while the film’s teaser released a couple of days ago smashed YouTube records and clocked 4 million views so far.

This shows Vijay Deverakonda’s brand value and rising fan following. In fact, the film unit is super excited with the immense response for the first single as well as the teaser. Parashuram is helming the film while Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead. Producer Bunny Vass is bankrolling the project under the banner of GA2 Pictures with Allu Aravind presenting it.

“ ‘Geetha Govindam’s first single has been going viral since its release not just in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, but also across the globe with Telugu music lovers lapping it up on varied platforms. The song has already reached the 90 lakh views milestone. The film’s teaser too was well received with 4 million views. We are truly amazed with the response for the first single as well as the teaser. We will be releasing the audio on July 29 and the film on August 15,” said the producers.
