Director Srinu Vaitla planned the US schedule in June but things didn't work out well. The team was supposed to shoot for 45 days in and around New York but the schedule got delayed.
Meanwhile, Srinu Vaitla and team stayed in India and wrapped up the remaining shoot in India. Post wrapping up the India schedule, the team finally flew to the US. Dusky beauty Ileana D'Cruz is staging her comeback into Tollywood with this film. Mythri Movie Makers banner is bankrolling this project. Touted to be an action thriller, Amar Akbar Anthony is slated for December release.
