Hebah Patel hasn’t learnt any lesson

Despite delivering earth-shattering flops like ‘Mister,’ ‘Andagaadu’ and ‘Angel’, pretty actress Hebah Patel has declined to do a role with a newcomer, although, she has a significant role in an exciting love story that suits her age and good looks, being directed by Lokesh and bankrolled by a popular production house. “She wants to work only with stars, even though, she has been sitting idle at home for the last 7 to 8 months,” says a source, close to the unit.

Even though she is doing the film ’24 Kisses’ with a new face, she has reservations working with another rookie, though it is a meaty role. “She was doing well after hits like ‘Kumari 21F’ but lost her way when she began to chase stars like Varun Tej and Vishnu Manchu. At least from now, she can revive her past glory only by picking up ‘well-defined’ roles and not by chasing big names,” the source adds.

Now-a-days, it is the season of performers- Sai Pallavi, Niveda Thomas and even Raashi Khanna, who was mostly confined to glam-prop roles, has silenced her detractors with a scintillating performance in ‘Tholi Prema’. Hope Hebah Patel realises her folly and picks performance-driven roles, or else she will slip into oblivion.
