Mahesh's suggestions to Vamsi about 'Maharshi'

Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy with his upcoming movie 'Maharshi' under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. The movie is going to mark the milestone of 25th film in Mahesh's career and the expectations are sky high on this flick.

Here's an interesting snippet about the film. The movie is going to be the story of a father and son. Before announcing the project formally, Vamshi Paidipally told Mahesh that the movie will have all the commercial elements including item song and powerful fights. But Mahesh wanted to do a message-oriented flick as it is his milestone film. He suggested Vamsi Paidipally to narrate the story in an honest way without adding any masala. Vamsi also agreed with Mahesh.

Also, after watching 'Pellichoopulu' and 'Arjun Reddy', Mahesh got impressed and showed interest in working with Tharun Bhascker and Sandeep Reddy. He asked them not to worry about his star image but to come up with a good script without unnecessary and regular commercial elements.
