Harish Shankar turns producer

Harish Shankar who marked his directorial debut with 'Shock' movie scored some decent hits not only as a director but also as a screenwriter. However, his previous film 'Duvvada Jagannadham DJ' starring Kallu Arjun failed to become a commercial success.

Now, the director is all set to come up with his upcoming film 'Dagudumoothalu'. Initially, Dil Raju was roped in to bankroll this project. But for the reasons best known to him, Dil Raju worked out of this project. He himself revealed it during a press meet. An interesting snippet about the movie is that Harish Shankar himself turned as a producer and is reportedly going to bankroll 'Daagudumoothalu' under his production house. Harish wanted to rope in Sudheer Babu and Ram as the lead actors for this multistarrer entertainer.

Sudheer Babu has already got on board for this film and Ram who is currently busy with his upcoming film 'Hello Guru Prema Kosame' is yet to take a final call. The female leads, other cast members and technicians are yet to be finalized. The regular shoot of the movie is much-likely to go on sets from November. The official announcement will be out soon.
