Till now comedian and actor Kapil Sharma used to top the 'most sensational celebrity' in Indian cyberspace. Recently, Tollywood beauty Ileana D'cruz replaced him. According to the twelfth edition of McAfee, 'Most Sensational Celebrity' survey, Ileana's name was highly used by the hackers to lure people in opening harmful websites.

“In today’s era, the entertainment industry and celebrities became bigger than ever. But, loyal fans feel the need to stay updated on industry news and gossip at all times. Also, the ease of access through a range of connected devices made it more feasible for followers to get instant news and information about their favourite stars,” said Venkat Krishnapur, Vice-President of Engineering and Managing Director.

He added that while fans track the stars, online security is often compromised which makes it easier for the Cyber criminals to lure the users by directing them to malicious links. The links could infect the devices or steal identities.

Now, as a precaution, they are requesting the consumers to think before they click and avoid suspicious links to protect themselves from cyber fraud. On the work front, after a long time, Ileana is going to appear on Telugu screens with 'Amar Akbar Anthony' starring Ravi Teja.
