Following a massive ravage of cyclone Titli hit areas in Srikakulam, actor Ram Charan on Sunday in a press release said that he would adopt one of the villages which was devastated due to the natural calamity.

The press release posted by Charan's PR Vamsi Kaka on Twitter stated that Ram Charan has decided to adopt a village after being inspired by his uncle Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan who is currently touring in the cyclone-hit areas.

It is learned that Ram Charan has taken up the decision on Pawan's request to the actors and politicians to adopt a village and help the people to survive.

"I'm glad that Babai (Pawan Kalyan) came up with this idea and it makes me extremely happy and privileged that I'm in a position to contribute and make a difference. I've decided to implement Babai's suggestion and have already discussed it with my team to initiate the process," Charan stated in the press release.
