Venkatesh-Naga Chaitanya film based on mystic plot?

After dismissing rumours that the much-hyped film of seasoned star Venkatesh with his nephew and actor Naga Chaitanya, the makers claimed that it was very much on. There was some buzz that the film was shelved, a few days ago. However, Venky Mama's team has informed the media that the film was not shelved and it's pretty much on the cards and the shooting will commence from November.

“The makers and actors are very confident about the script which revolves around astrology and its impact on marriage and human life,” says a source, close to the unit and adds “It raises a debate on belief system of Hindus where the majority believes that life is pre-determined. On the contrary, the younger generation believes in making their own choices relying on their intelligence and pragmatism,” the source adds. Undoubtedly, the conflict between uncle (Venkatesh) and his nephew (Naga Chaitanya) on screen arises out of this mystical birth chart since the latter dismisses it as a myth without any authentic evidence.

Pretty actresses Rakul Preet Singh and Huma Qureshi play the female leads, while director Bobby of ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ fame will helm this rural-based family entertainer. Interestingly, Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya shared screen space earlier in ‘Premam’, where Venkatesh was seen in a cameo. Already, the combo has triggered a lot of hype to become one of the much-awaited movies of 2019.
