Telugus are sweet and good-hearted, says Rajini

Superstar Rajinikanth claimed that director Shankar has learnt Telugu langauge in the last few years. “While promoting ‘Robot’ eight years ago Shankar spoke in English since he didn’t know Telugu but now he has mastered it’ said the superstar who was in Hyderabad to promote his upcoming magnum opus ‘ 2.0.

“Telugus are sweet and good-hearted and less said the better about their delicious food and pretty girls,” he added. Rajini also said that ‘2.0’ is a heady combination of good story and visual effects with 3D being a value addition.

He claimed that he is nervous prior-torelease even after being in the industry for 43 years. “I am going through some sleepless, nights even though I am sure it is going rock box-office,” he informed. B-town star Akshay Kumar said “Working in ‘2.0’ has been a learning experience.

I donned loads of make-up for this movie, first time in my career. It was great to work with Rajinikanth and thanks to Sankar for giving me this opportunity,” he added.

Director Shankar in his speech said ‘The story idea triggered in me after imagining an hypothetical situation. It is anemotional and fascinating story.

Rajnikanth worked against all odds to make my dream a reality and Akshay Kumar will be a big boost for our magnum opus,” he added.

He praised A R Rahman for composing breath-taking background score,’ “audience will be reminded of big ticket Hollywood movies like ‘Batman’ and ‘Spiderman”, he concludes.
