Rana steered out of a biggest debacle

Kollywood hero Dhanush recently starred in 'Vada Chennai' movie. The action drama set with the backdrop of rowdyism and smuggling garnered a positive response from the audience even before the release.

But the movie ended up as a disaster and got divided talk from the opening day. But, the makers released it as a web series and first part recently hit the internet. There is a crucial role called Rajan in the movie and entire story revolves around him. The role was essayed by a character actor called Amir.

Initially, director Vetri Maaran considered Rana and then Ravi Teja for that role. Both the actors were about to give the green signal but because of the delay in the shooting schedules, they opted out of the project. The film starts with the death of Rajan and the twist is Andrea Jeremiah who played the wife role of Rajan is the culprit and intentionally drags Dhanush into this mess as a part of her plan.

On the other hand, online version, both Ravi Teja and Rana are glad to miss that project as the film is filled with Tamil flavor and would have ended up as a biggest disaster at the box office. Even Dhanush also didn't dare to release the Telugu dubbed version.
