Gorgeous and multi lingual actress Aditi Rao Hydari adds another feather in her cap, the talented diva turns singer and records her first Tamil Song for the forthcoming drama Jail.

The actress was last seen in Mani Ratnam's multi-starrer gangster drama Chekka Chivantha Vaanam as a Journalist, and now Aditi Rao Hydari croons her first Tamil song for Jail, composed by actor and composer GV Prakash Kumar.

Aditi Rao took to her social media profile and made the announcement. She wrote, “Recorded my first song in Tamil!Butterflies in my tummy! Thank you for trusting me with such a pretty song and guiding me through so smoothly @gvprakash... all the best to you and @vasantabalan sir for #Jail"

The film “Jail” is directed by National award-winning filmmaker Vasanthabalan who returns to direction after four years features GV Prakash Kumar in the titular role. The first look of the film is out and it appears that Jail could be about slum rehabilitation and how the settlers are affected, forcing them to move out.

The actress had crooned a Hindi song for her 2012 romantic comedy London, Paris, New York where she shared the screen space with Ali Zafar in the direction of Anu Menon.

Aditi's first Tamil film was Sringaram in 2007 but she made an impressive comeback a decade later with the Mani Ratnam directorial Kaatru Veliyidai.

She is currently busy Varun Tej's Antariksham 9000 KMPH, the first ever space film in the Telugu film industry. Directed by Sankalp Reddy of The Ghazi Attack it is expected to hit the marquee on December 21 to cash in on the long Christmas weekend. The film has two female leads – Lavanya Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari – in the star cast.
