The countdown for Cheat India Trailer has begun and to keep the audience engaged the makers unveil a new poster from the film on social media.
Atul Kasbekar took to his social media profile and dropped the new poster. On the poster, Emraan Hashmi is looking spot on as Rakesh Singh, an educational agent.
He captioned the poster, “Chalo Karo NAKAL Shuru…Aa Gaya CHEATING Ka Guru! Here’s the second poster of #CheatIndia...I photographed this...Inspired by a few gems who have many divine godly images behind them at work while they go on to shaft n con people all day long #NakalMeinHiAkalHai”
Inspired by true events and facts and coming from the makers of “Neerja”, “Tumhari Sulu” and “Raid”, the forthcoming “Cheat India” is out to bare the malpractices in India’s education system.
Its controversial tagline, “Nakal Mein Hi Akal Hai”, clearly points towards the rampant malpractices in the country’s financially lucrative education sector and Emraan Hashmi brings it to the surface as Rakesh Singh, who unlike God, takes cash, not wishes.
Hashmi had stated in an interview that the film was a first-of-its-kind for him, besides being topical and relevant for students and parents.
The film debuts the talented Shreya Dhanwanthary and features more than forty theatre actors cast after extensive auditioning.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, Tanuj Garg and Atul Kasbekar’s Ellipsis Entertainment, and Emraan Hashmi Films, “Cheat India” is due for a world release on January 25, 2019.
