Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan caused quite a stir with Mumbai police over a video. Their twitter bantering it going viral!

Actress Sonam Kapoor shared a video on her Twitter account of herself and Dulquer Salmaan sitting in a car while the latter is seen watching a video on his phone. The car seems to be moving and Sonam is heard calling Dulquer a weirdo in the video.

Mumbai Police tried to troll the two, without verifying the facts and posted on Twitter calling Dulquer a weirdo indeed for watching videos while driving. They wrote, “We agree with you @sonamakapoor! Quite a ‘weirdo’ to try such stunts while driving and putting the lives of fellow drivers at risk too! We don’t quite approve of these even in ‘reel’ life. #NotDone”

However, they should probably have verified the case beforehand, because Sonam and Dulquer were quick to point out the mistake, thus trolling Mumbai Police instead.

Apparently, Sonam and Dulquer were being dragged by a loader truck. In other words, Dulquer was not really breaking any traffic rules. Sonam responded saying,

Sonam K Ahuja - We weren’t driving we were rigged on a truck.. but I’m glad you guys are concerned.. I hope and I know you show the same interest in regular folk as well! Thanks for taking care! #Reelvsreal @dulQuer

Dulquer shared the same, he wrote, “@MumbaiPolice...The car was rigged to a low loader truck which was also the camera rig. I couldn't steer or drive the car even if I wanted to. Also this particular car cannot steer itself”

Further adding he wrote, “Would appreciate it if you had checked some facts before tweeting this. In fact

@MumbaiPolice helped us with permissions and traffic management during the shoot and were present the whole time. In my next tweet attaching the video I was shooting. #notawierdo”
