The head honcho of T-series, Bhushan Kumar unveils the first official poster of forthcoming comic caper Arjun Patiala, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma, also confirm the movie release date.
Bhushan Kumar dropped the poster and release date on his official Twitter handle. He wrote, “A laugh riot coming your way! #ArjunPatiala to release on May 3, 2019. #DineshVijan @JugrajRohit @diljitdosanjh @kritisanon @varunsharma90 @TSeries @MaddockFilms @leyzellsandeep @yadav_shobhna @bakemycakefilms @sharadakarki @writish @vinodbhanu”
The comic caper starring Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Sharma and Kriti Sanon started rolling early this year. Now the film is complete and ready for release.
Diljit and Kriti will be starring together in a film for the very first time and it is touted to be a slice-of-life film. The film is directed by Rohit Jugraj, and will see producers Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan collaborating with each other.
The central plot of the film is the romance between a tall woman and a short man, with the height difference causing comic difficulties. A tall female journalist (Kriti Sanon) and a short Punjabi man (Diljit Dosanjh) begin a love affair but their height difference causes comic difficulties.
The movie also stars Ronit Roy and Sunny Leone in cameo. The film is scheduled to release on 3 May 2019.
