Boyapati Srinu to get top billing

With ace director S S Rajamouli preferring to take a share in profits instead of a fixed remuneration, action filmmaker Boyapati Srinu will become the highest paid director in T-town. “Boyapati will be drawing a pay cheque of Rs 15 crore for his upcoming film with Balakrishna to be produced under NBK Films,” says a source, close to the unit. “After the biopic, Balakrishna doesn’t want to compromise on any aspect to establish his banner in a big way,” the source adds. In fact, Balakrishna unveiled the promo of his upcoming movie with Boyapati at the audio release function of the film ‘N.T.R,’ announcing that the shooting will commence from February to a thundering applause from the Nandamuri fans.

“Both have delivered solid hits like ‘Simha’ and ‘Legend’ and are on the verge of a hat-trick and the their films are going to create ripples in the trade,” the source points out. Nonetheless, Boyapati outwits his arch rivals like Trivikram Srinivas, Puri Jagannath and Srinu Vaitla to get the top billing since he has been among hits barring the average grosser ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’. He is known for his slam-bang action movies and he is right now working with mega hero Ram Charan for which the expectations are soaring high. But his teaming up with the scion of Nandamuri family will put him in a different league.
