​Rakul Preet Wraps NGK

Actor Rakul Preet Singh is fast becoming popular names in Tamil Industry, the actress is currently shooting for three projects and just confirmed that she has wrapped the shoot of Selvaraghavan’s NGK. The movie stars Suriya in the lead role.

Actress Rakul Preet took to Twitter to announce that she has completed shooting for her portion in NGK, which is gearing up for a summer release. Rakul tweeted, "And it’s a wrap for NGK! What an amazing learning experience this has been with the genius Selvaraghavan sir and the most charismatic Suriya sir! Can’t wait for the madness to unfold!"

The film was earlier slated for Diwali release but the shoot got stalled as the filmmaker Selvaraghavan fell ill. Later Suriya went on to complete shooting a major portion of KV Anand’s Kaappaan, which delayed the film even longer.

The film also stars Sai Pallavi as the leading lady. The project is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
Despite rumours doing the rounds that the film could be a revived version of Selvaraghavan’s Kaan, which was launched in 2016 and dropped, sources close to the makers have rubbished the reports and clarified that the team is working on a fresh subject.

The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
