Actor Jackie Shroff is returning to Tamil Cinema, after making his debut in 2011, the actor has now signed a deal to star in another Tamil film, titled Paandi Muni. Helming the project as its director is Kasthuri Raja.

The actor plays an Aghori in the film and now the film is 70 percent is complete and release in 2019.

The Aghori in Paandi Muni will not be the aggressive type that the films have portrayed so far, touted to be a horror flick, Paandi Muni has been shot in several picturesque locations including the Javadha Hills.

This is a role that Jackie has probably never done before in his career. The film is a war between the God and the ghost and will see a clash between characters essayed by Jackie and Meghali respectively.

Jackie was last seen Tamil thriller Maayavan, in which he played the antagonist. Best remembered for his role as a gangster in national award-winning Tamil film Aaranya Kaandam, Jackie is expected to raise the bar higher with his comeback to Tamil industry.
