Janhvi Kapoor Slam Website For Celebrating Pulwama Terror Attack

The terror attacks in Pulwama that killed 40 CRPF jawans on Thursday sent shockwaves across the country. Bollywood stars too were left shaken by the gruesome terror attack.

Many celebs took to social media to condemn the terror attack and pay respect to the CRPF martyrs and their families. Now newbie Janhvi Kapoor took to her social media and wrote a note, expressing her anger.

Janhvi Kapoor shared pictures of attacks and some news clip, a propagandist article that celebrate the heinous act. She wrote, “The reasons to be angered and hurt are plenty. The one that upsets me the most is that our men didn’t even get the chance to fight for themselves. The second photo is of a propagandist article that is celebrating this terrorist attack as a fight for freedom.

It’s tragic and irresponsible that the truths of such a condemnable act are being distorted by the media to suit their political agendas. These men have been robbed of not just their lives but also the respect that they deserve as protectors of a nation. On the work front, Janhvi has begun shooting for a biopic on Gunjan Saxena, the first ever Indian woman to fly into a combat zone. Apart from this, Janhvi has also bagged Karan Johar's period drama Takht.
