Actor Ronit Roy says the recent Pulwama Terror attack is a serious dent in our national security and one should take it lightly.

Talking to media on the sidelines of ActFest awards by CINTAA, actor Ronit Roy was asked about India seeking revenge on Pakistan for recent terror attack, to which actor reacted and said, “It is very serious matter, 42 CRPF personnel have lost their lives and others are critically injured, so essentially there are 42 families right now who are in mourning and rest of the families are in grief, it is severe dent in our national security”

“So I don’t think it should be taken so light to ask how to take revenge…we have a defense department in place, and it is a serious matter, which needs to be addressed seriously, not while such events…I don’t think we should dwell in such serious topics just like that…”

Ronit Roy along with Manoj Bajpayee, Sara Ali Khan, Divya Dutta and many more participated in the press junket for ActFest, organized by Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) and 48 Hour Film Project,

Talking about the initiative, Ronit said, “I’ve been associated with CINTAA for last 25 years. This is their first edition of the ActFest Awards, and it’s like our constitution – of the people, for the people, by the people, and awards as such, of the actors, for the actors, and by the actors, so this is the first edition, let’s see”

In the worst-ever terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir since militancy erupted in 1989, a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) suicide bomber on Thursday rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a CRPF bus in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, killing at least 42 troopers and leaving 38 critically wounded.
