Akshay Kumar drops the trailer of forthcoming historic saga, Kesari, the film is based on a true story and the stunning portrayal of valour in the battle of Saragarhi will blow your mind!

Helmed by Anurag Singh, Kesari narrates the tale of Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi, a war fought between an army of 21 Sikhs and 10,000 Afghans in 1897, while yearning for the respect of his estranged daughter.

Talented actress Parineeti Chopra also plays a pivotal role but one gets only glimpse of her in the trailer. Actor Akshay Kumar plays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, a Sikh soldier who fought the Battle of Saragarhi and his intensity has done full justice to the role.

The trailer depicts Akshay Kumar and his men in a battlefield, defending their post and eventually making the big sacrifice for the country.

Kesari is all set to hit the silver screens on March 11.
