According to the latest sources, the runtime of Maharshi will be a little more than three hours. These days most of the films are being made on a crisp runtime of around two hours but this lengthy runtime of Maharshi can be termed as a risk taken by the makers, says the industry sources.
Maharshi chronicles the story of an NRI who comes back to his motherland for a noble purpose. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in it while Allari Naresh is seen in an important role. It is slated for a worldwide release on May 9.
