A minor girl was allegedly raped by a 16-year-old boy in Nizamabad, police said today.
It is learnt that the girl is 12 years old and the accused, 14-year-old was her neighbor who took her upstairs of the building in the Nagaram village last night and allegedly raped, said the police on a complaint lodged by the victim's parents.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim's parents, Nizamabad V Town police has booked a case against the minor boy under relevant sections of the IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.
The victim has been sent for further medical test. Efforts are on to catch the accused, said the police.
