Guntakal: Cops publicly thrash murder accused
Cops Publicly Thrash Murder Accused, Murder Mystery. DSP Supraja, Urban CI Srinivasulu and other police personnel, who took up investigation, cracked the murder mystery and took Shekhar and four others into their custody.
Guntakal: The cops taking the accused into their custody and using third degree methods to make them to spill the beans is an open secret. But the police here rather took a different path of not only bashing up the accused in full public glare but also warned of taking stringent action for indulging in heinous crimes.
Mallaiah, 52, was murdered here by his son-in-law who got angry with the former for lodging a police complaint against the latter. It may be recalled that Mallaiah had lodged a complaint with the rural police a few days ago stating that his son-in-law Shekhar was harassing his daughter.
Shekhar, who nursed a grudge against his father-in-law for lodging the complaint, hatched a conspiracy along with his brother and four others to eliminate his him. The accused waited for a right opportunity and hacked him to death at old bus stand on Thursday at 8.30 pm.
DSP Supraja, Urban CI Srinivasulu and other police personnel, who took up investigation, cracked the murder mystery and took Shekhar and four others into their custody.
Later, they interrogated the accused and took them to the spot where the murder took place. There they thrashed the accused in full public view and warned them of implementing laws strictly if they indulged in anti-social activities.
