Chandigarh: Two constables of Chandigarh police have been detained for allegedly raping a minor girl aged 17 years. A total of five constables have been allegedly involved in raping a teenage girl for months together. It is learnt that the girl has been threatened by the accused of dire consequences, if revealed to anyone.
According to Chandigarh police, the young girl has filed a complaint against five constables, but only two of them could be detained as the remaining three are absconding.
According to the sources, the victim has been sexually abused for last three months. She was sexually abused for the first time when she sought the help from police following a dispute in the pretext of recording the statement. The victim in her statement alleged that the constable took her in a vehicle and raped her at gunpoint.
