On December30 the Cyberabad police arrested a 24-year-old man from Vigyan Kancha near Research Centre Imarat (RCI) Colony on the charge of running a fake job racket.

Rajendran Parthasarathy, the accused originally hails from Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu. A complaint has been received by Nagamanisri on December 20 by the Cyber Crime sleuths alleging that she was gambled for an amount of Rs 80,000 by unidentified offenders on the pretext of providing a job in IBM.

A case has been registered by the police and based on the evidences, the cyber crime sleuths arrested Rajendran from Kukatpally when he came to collect additional amount from the victim. During the interrogation he accepted that he lured the victim over a web based advertisement and encahsed her faith.

He had sent a fake job letter to the victim after getting an amount of 80,000 credited to his account. When the victim contacted the IBM office, she realized the job to be a fake one.
