Mahabubnagar: B Tech student held for rape
B Tech student held for rape, B Tech student Rakesh's case. After coming to know about their relationship, Yadagiri pulled up the parents of Rakesh and demanded Rs 5 lakh as compensation.
Mahabubnagar: Police on Saturday arrested B Tech student Rakesh for ‘sexually exploiting’ a girl after enticing her with offer of marriage. The victim was working as maid in the house of a retired MRO Yadagiri at Ayodhya Nagar here.
After coming to know about their relationship, Yadagiri pulled up the parents of Rakesh and demanded Rs 5 lakh as compensation. They paid Rs 1.5 lakh. He gave the amount to the victim and sent her away. The incident came to light when fellow passengers noticed the girl weeping at local railway station and lodged a police complaint. The police shifted her to the State Home and registered a case against Yadagiri and four others. They detained another person Ravi. The girl pleaded with the police to perform her marriage with Rakesh.
