Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a hostel warden and his friends who were in an inebriated condition misbehaved with the girls residing in a hostel at B N Reddy Colony in Vanastalipuram here on Wednesday.
Five Bihar girls staying in a hostel were targeted by Naresh, the warden-cum-owner of Sai Manikanta Hostel, and his associates, but their sexual advances were rejected by the inmates. “They tried to barge into the rooms located on the first floor by breaking open the doors. We got frightened and raised an alarm,” said an MBA student residing in the hostel.
According to reports, Naresh and his friends misbehaved with them after forcibly enter their rooms. They backtracked only when the girls screamed. A complaint was registered against the warden, with the girls demanding harsh punishment. The girls hail from Bihar, and are studying in Hyderabad.
On the other hand, Nivedita, a relative of Naresh, said, “We have a total of 80 inmates and no such problem arose all these years. But these five girls from Bihar were an exception. They are trying to tarnish our reputation. They have a different lifestyle altogether. We reprimanded them for their indecent dressing and late night antics to which they expressed disapproval and went on to complain against us.” “Departmental enquiry has been initiated and we will nail down the offenders if found guilty,” said the cops
