Hyderabad: THE RGI Airport Customs has made a seizure of 566.56 grams gold in the early morning of 05.02.14. One passenger named Khaja Saleemuddin Shareef of Warangal, who arrived from Dubai in Fly Dubai flight around 1.30 am, was stopped by customs officers on suspicion, when he was walking through Green Channel.
When asked whether he is carrying any dutiable goods he replied negative. Then on detailed search, Customs officers found out 5 gold bars weighing 566.56 grams, concealed in his shoes. The total worth of the gold is Rs.17,56,336. The gold biscuits were seized by Customs.
