Vijayanagaram: The police have proved that nobody is great in front of the orders received from the Election Commission. Late on Thursday, the police have raided when they received a message that money was distributed to voters by disbanding the Election Code.

As many as 15 Congress Party activists were caught red handed when they were distributing the money at Budarayavalasa of Morakamudidam mandal in Vijayanagaram district. An amount of Rs 75,000 and 11 cell phones have been seized by the police from them.

According to sources, on behalf of Botsa Satyanarayana, the former PCC Chief of Andhra Pradesh, the money was distributed to lure the voters in the supervision of Ramana Raju, the DCMS President. Chinna Srinu, a relative of Botsa, was actively involved in the money distribution process.
