Man beats daughter to death
A six-year-old girl was allegedly beaten to death by her father who wanted a ‘son’. However the police booked a case of suspicious death and took up investigation.

Hyderabad: A six-year-old girl was allegedly beaten to death by her father who wanted a ‘son’.
However the police booked a case of suspicious death and took up investigation.
The gruesome incident took place in Kamathipura police station limits on Sunday.
The mother of the deceased girl complained the police that her husband had beaten her daughter to death at their home.
The accused, a labourer belonging to Muslim community, was questioned by the police following the complaint by his wife to whom he told that she fell from the sofa and died on the spot.
The complainant woman stated that her husband always wanted a boy instead of a girl child, but after begetting three daughters, he was frustrated and started harassing her. The body was sent to Osmania Hospital for autopsy.
