The Delhi police have registered a case and the injured cop, who is said to be out of danger, was recuperating at RML Hospital.
Ravi Kiran who was sharing his room with DSP Srinivasa Rao of the Telangana State police was injured when the latter was cleaning his weapon and it misfired.
Both of them are part of the 15 member Telangana police team which arrived in the capital for the UN Peace Keeping Force selections slated for Friday.
