Parents attempt suicide over missing son
Distressed over the disappearance of a youth, his parents attempted suicide in Warangal district on Friday.
Mahabubabad (Warangal): Distressed over the disappearance of a youth, his parents attempted suicide in Warangal district on Friday.
According to the sources, the parents, T Bhojya Naik and Padma had a son, Naveeen Naik, who was studying B Tech final year at a private college in Hyderabad.
He was missing since nine months. They belong to Collector thanda on the outskirts of Sirole village of Kuravi mandal in the district.
Bhojya Naik for the past few years has been working as a security officer at a star hotel in Hyderabad after his retirement from the CRPF. All their efforts to trace their son were reportedly failed.
Troubled at which they have consumed pesticide near Mahabubabad railway station after informing their relatives about their suicide attempt.
The relatives rushed to the spot and shifted them to a private hospital for treatment and their condition was said to be critical. Bhojya Naik and Padma have a daughter Pooja, who is studying B Tech third year in Hyderabad.
Their son was said to be missing since December 26, 2014.
