2 held for selling adulterated milk
As much as 440 litres of adulterated milk, 40 kg urea, 18 kg milk powder and edible oil was seized from two persons by the Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) police at Ghatkesar on Wednesday.
Hyderabad: As much as 440 litres of adulterated milk, 40 kg urea, 18 kg milk powder and edible oil was seized from two persons by the Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT) police at Ghatkesar on Wednesday.
According to the SOT, Rashid and Ravi of Hyderabad hatched a plan to earn easy money by selling adulterated milk.
Accordingly, they hired a room in a remote area in Ghatkesar and manufactured adulterated milk by using urea, original milk, edible oil and milk powder. The police seized huge quantity of adulterated milk along with two autos used for its transportation and other products used in manufacturing.
They have been in to illegal business for the past 18 months, the SOT police said, adding that, they were handed over to Ghatkesar Police for further action.
