Pak cyber group hacks Vizag police website
The police department was shocked to learn that their traffic police website www.vizagtrafficpolice.com was hacked by Pakistan cyber group on November 28.
Visakhapatnam: The police department was shocked to learn that their traffic police website www.vizagtrafficpolice.com was hacked by Pakistan cyber group on November 28.
The hackers blocked the site and posted some malicious and anti-national content under the web name ‘Team Pakistan cyber attackers’ alleging atrocities against Muslims in Kashmir.
“We found the website hanging and immediately alerted the service provider,’’ said ADCP K Mahendra Patrudu. Patrudu said the last update was made around 8 am on November 28 and it was hacked around 2 pm. It was rectified by 4 pm on the same day.
It was immediately taken to the notice of the commissioner who asked the Cyber Wing of the commissionerate to make inquiry. The Cyber Wing after a thorough probe on Tuesday announced that it was hacked by the Pakistani attackers.
