Auto driver sexually assaults minor in Saidabad

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an autorickshaw driver inside her own house at Saidabad. The incident took place at 11 in the morning when the girl was alone at her house in the Singareni area as her elder brother and mother were away.

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an autorickshaw driver inside her own house at Saidabad. The incident took place at 11 in the morning when the girl was alone at her house in the Singareni area as her elder brother and mother were away.
The accused, Syed Amjed who is an acquaintance of the victim’s mother came into the house and overpowered the girl before the assault. The girl's mother after coming to know about the incident alerted the Saidabad police who caught the accused with the help of locals from the area.
Saidabad inspector A Srinivas Rao informed that the victim has been sent to the hospital for treatment and is still under the observation of doctors. A case has been booked by the police against Amjed under Section 376 and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
