IT raids on TDP MLA yields 18 cr cash

The Income-Tax department on Wednesday night conducted raids on the house of Narayanpet MLA Rajender Reddy. It is learnt that nearly 30 IT officials from Gulbarga and Bangalore conducted simultaneous raids on the house of the Telugu Desam Party MLA in Raichur and his office as well.
Mahbubnagar: The Income-Tax department on Wednesday night conducted raids on the house of Narayanpet MLA Rajender Reddy.
It is learnt that nearly 30 IT officials from Gulbarga and Bangalore conducted simultaneous raids on the house of the Telugu Desam Party MLA in Raichur and his office as well.
His offices in Hyderabad are also said to have been raided. It is being said that the IT officials seized about Rs 18 crore which was kept in his office locker. The searches are still continuing.
