Two girls who went missing from the social welfare hostel at Muduchekkalapally since November 24 were found dead in Warangal on Sunday.
The girls - Bhumika and Priyanka studying in Class IX had escaped from the hostel and the police had not been able to trace them even after an intensive search. Earlier, the girls had attempted to escape the hostel couple of times but were brought back. The bodies of the girls were found being eaten by dogs on Sunday at Khader Gutta in Chennaraopet mandal in the district. They were supposed to have died a week ago and the reason behind their deaths is still a mystery. Police have registered a case and begun the investigation.
