Khammam: The One-Town police nabbed two suspects, while trying to sell valuable items, at Kamaan Bazaar in the town on Monday.

Speaking to the media here, One-Town Police Inspector Ramana Murthy said that on receiving information that two suspects were trying to sell stolen items, the police rushed to the spot and nabbed Damalla Srinu, a resident of Hanamkonda along with Chennuvalli Ravi, a resident of Sainagar, Suryapet, both living in Prakashnagar of Khammam Town.
The police have seized 10.7 tulas of gold items and 36 tolas of silver from them which were stolen from various houses in Khammam town.
Inspector Ramana Murthy said the duo have committed thefts in Kukatpally and Ibrahimpatnam of Hyderabad. He said that they took a house on rent in Prakash Nagar of Khammam town eight months ago.
